거룩함을 지키도록 정하신 규례

 

오늘의 말씀 요약(4:1~20)

 

1.  또 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하여 이르시되

1.  The LORD said to Moses and Aaron:

2.  레위 자손 중에서 고핫 자손을 그들의 종족과 조상의 가문에 따라 집계할지니

2.  "Take a census of the Kohathite branch of the Levites by their clans and families.

3.  곧 삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막의 일을 하기 위하여 그 역사에 참가할 만한 모든 자를 계수하라

3.  Count all the men from thirty to fifty years of age who come to serve in the work in the Tent of Meeting.

4.  고핫 자손이 회막 안의 지성물에 대하여 할 일은 이러하니라

4.  "This is the work of the Kohathites in the Tent of Meeting: the care of the most holy things.

5.  진영이 전진할 때에 아론과 그의 아들들이 들어가서 칸 막는 휘장을 걷어 증거궤를 덮고

5.  When the camp is to move, Aaron and his sons are to go in and take down the shielding curtain and cover the ark of the Testimony with it.

6.  그 위를 해달의 가죽으로 덮고 그 위에 순청색 보자기를 덮은 후에 그 채를 꿰고

6.  Then they are to cover this with hides of sea cows, spread a cloth of solid blue over that and put the poles in place.

7.  진설병의 상에 청색 보자기를 펴고 대접들과 숟가락들과 주발들과 붓는 잔들을 그 위에 두고 또 항상 진설하는 떡을 그 위에 두고

7.  "Over the table of the Presence they are to spread a blue cloth and put on it the plates, dishes and bowls, and the jars for drink offerings; the bread that is continually there is to remain on it.

8.  홍색 보자기를 그 위에 펴고 그것을 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮은 후에 그 채를 꿰고

8.  Over these they are to spread a scarlet cloth, cover that with hides of sea cows and put its poles in place.

9.  청색 보자기를 취하여 등잔대와 등잔들과 불 집게들과 불똥 그릇들과 그 쓰는 바 모든 기름 그릇을 덮고

9.  "They are to take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand that is for light, together with its lamps, its wick trimmers and trays, and all its jars for the oil used to supply it.

10.  등잔대와 그 모든 기구를 해달의 가죽 덮개 안에 넣어 메는 틀 위에 두고

10.  Then they are to wrap it and all its accessories in a covering of hides of sea cows and put it on a carrying frame.

11.  금제단 위에 청색 보자기를 펴고 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮고 그 채를 꿰고

11.  "Over the gold altar they are to spread a blue cloth and cover that with hides of sea cows and put its poles in place.

12.  성소에서 봉사하는 데에 쓰는 모든 기구를 취하여 청색 보자기에 싸서 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮어 메는 틀 위에 두고

12.  "They are to take all the articles used for ministering in the sanctuary, wrap them in a blue cloth, cover that with hides of sea cows and put them on a carrying frame.

13.  제단의 재를 버리고 그 제단 위에 자색 보자기를 펴고

13.  "They are to remove the ashes from the bronze altar and spread a purple cloth over it.

14.  봉사하는 데에 쓰는 모든 기구 곧 불 옮기는 그릇들과 고기 갈고리들과 부삽들과 대야들과 제단의 모든 기구를 두고 해달의 가죽 덮개를 그 위에 덮고 그 채를 꿸 것이며

14.  Then they are to place on it all the utensils used for ministering at the altar, including the firepans, meat forks, shovels and sprinkling bowls. Over it they are to spread a covering of hides of sea cows and put its poles in place.

15.  진영을 떠날 때에 아론과 그의 아들들이 성소와 성소의 모든 기구 덮는 일을 마치거든 고핫 자손들이 와서 멜 것이니라 그러나 성물은 만지지 말라 그들이 죽으리라 회막 물건 중에서 이것들은 고핫 자손이 멜 것이며

15.  "After Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy furnishings and all the holy articles, and when the camp is ready to move, the Kohathites are to come to do the carrying. But they must not touch the holy things or they will die. The Kohathites are to carry those things that are in the Tent of Meeting.

16.  제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살이 맡을 것은 등유와 태우는 향과 항상 드리는 소제물과 관유이며 또 장막 전체와 그 중에 있는 모든 것과 성소와 그 모든 기구니라

16.  "Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest, is to have charge of the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the regular grain offering and the anointing oil. He is to be in charge of the entire tabernacle and everything in it, including its holy furnishings and articles."

17.  ○여호와께서 또 모세와 아론에게 말씀하여 이르시되

17.  The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

18.  너희는 고핫 족속의 지파를 레위인 중에서 끊어지게 하지 말지니

18.  "See that the Kohathite tribal clans are not cut off from the Levites.

19.  그들이 지성물에 접근할 때에 그들의 생명을 보존하고 죽지 않게 하기 위하여 이같이 하라 아론과 그의 아들들이 들어가서 각 사람에게 그가 할 일과 그가 멜 것을 지휘하게 할지니라

19.  So that they may live and not die when they come near the most holy things, do this for them: Aaron and his sons are to go into the sanctuary and assign to each man his work and what he is to carry.

20.  그들은 잠시라도 들어가서 성소를 보지 말라 그들이 죽으리라

20.  But the Kohathites must not go in to look at the holy things, even for a moment, or they will die."

 

 

오늘의 말씀 요약

 

고핫 자손은 회막 안 지성물에 대한 일을 맡습니다.

진영이 전진할 때면 먼저 아론과 그의 아들들이 성소에 들어가 모든 성물을 지정된 덮개로 덮고 채를 꿰야 합니다.

그 후에 고핫 자손들이 들어가 어깨에 채를 메고 이동합니다.

이때 고핫 자손은 성물을 만져 죽는 일이 없도록 주의해야 합니다.

 

 

본문 해설

 

아론 자손과 고핫 자손의 임무 (4:1~16)
하나님은 택하신 자에게 고유의 직임을 주십니다.

하나님은 레위 자손 중 고핫 자손을 계수하라고 하십니다.

고핫 자손 중 30세 이상으로 50세까지의 남자는 회막의 일을 담당합니다.

회막 안의 지성물에 대한 임무를 수행할 때 아론과 그의 아들 들이 할 일이 있고, 고핫 자손이 할 일이 있습니다.

이스라엘 백성이 행진할 때는 먼저 아론과 그의 아들들이 하나님이 정하신 방 법에 따라 성소의 기구들을 정리합니다.

그들은 성소와 성소의 모든 기구를 덮는 일과 채를 꿰는 일을 합니다.

고핫 자손이 할 일은 이렇게 정리된 기구들을 어깨로 메어 나르는 것입니다.

이렇듯 하나님은 아론과 그의 아들들이 할 일, 고핫 자손이 할 일을 분명하게 규정해 주십니다.

하나님의 거룩함을 지킬 수 있도록 그들에게 고유의 권한과 질서를 정해 주신 것입니다.

 

- 하나님이 아론과 그의 아들들에게, 그리고 고핫 자손에게 주신 직임은 무엇인가요?

- 하나님이 분담해 맡기신 일에 나는 겸손히 순종하고 있나요?

 

고핫 자손이 주의할 일 (4:17~20)
고핫 자손은 임의로 성소에 들어가 성물을 보면  안 됩니다(20절).

성물을 메는 과정에서 성물을 만져서도 안 됩니다(15절).

이를 지키지 않으면 죽습니다.

이는 고핫 자손을 제어 하려는 것이 아니라 보호하려는 은혜의 조치입니다.

하나님은 지성물을 다루는 임무가 중요하기에 고핫 자손이 생명을 보존할 수 있게 주의하라고 하십니다.

이를 위해 아론과 그의 아들들은 성소의 일에 대해 세심하게 지도해야 합니다.

거룩하신 하나님을 섬기는 일에는 영광도 따르지만, 거룩함을 지킬 의무도 따릅니다.

하나님을 경외하는 마음이 클 때 거룩함을 지킬 수 있습니다.

하나님,

십자가 보혈로 은혜의 보좌 앞에 담대히 나아갈 수 있게 하심이 얼마나 큰 은혜며 특권인지 깨닫습니다.

그 사랑을 의지해 하나님과 친밀함을 누리면서도 하나님을 경외하며 거룩함을 지키게 하소서.

하나님이 금하시는 것과 기뻐하시는 것을 분별해 행하게 하소서.
예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다.
